Terms of Service
The rules for using CritDesk as an attendee, player or organizer.
1. Who we are
CritDesk is software that tabletop conventions, game stores and clubs ("organizers") use to sell badges and tickets, run schedules and manage their communities. When you buy from an event, your purchase is with that organizer. CritDesk processes the order on their behalf.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
3. Buying badges and tickets
Prices, refund policies, waivers and codes of conduct are set by each organizer and shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refund requests go to the organizer, who decides them under their policy.
4. Organizers
Organizers are responsible for their events, their content and how they treat attendees. Organizers own the data of their organization and can export it at any time, including after cancelling a plan. Paid plans renew until cancelled; platform fees are shown on the Pricing page.
5. Community rules
Do not post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or misleading. Sessions for adults must carry an age rating and content warnings. Anyone can report a game, group, profile or post; moderators may hide content or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attack, overload, scrape or try to get around the security of the service, and do not use it to send spam. We limit how often some actions can be taken to protect everyone.
7. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, CritDesk is not liable for the conduct of organizers or attendees, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it applies.
